Hello all! Is there any way I can utilize a CD-RW drive on a Windows XP Home or Pro computer through a network from a Windows 98SE machine? Will simply sharing the root drive do the trick? I can't get it to work in Windows Media Player? If not, what program can I use to burn images like I was using a CD drive (i.e. fool WMP into thinking its burning a CD, when it's really burning an image) Help appreciated. -Alex

    3. Why dont you just use a virtualdrive like the alcoholdrive or daemontools?

Problem is: I need my one computer to be able to burn a CD image THROUGH Windows Media Player. Other burning programs let me burn images. I can write the software to send an image over the network and burn it remotely, I just need to get the image.
