CD drive G??

    all of a sudden one day i looked at My Computer and saw i had an extra CD Drive G. i don't kno where that came from...i didnt have any external cd drives or hard drives or anything connected...i thought maybe one of my cd drives got copied so i tried to eject it but nothing happened...i was just wondering what it was...thinking maybe it was a virus

    Some burning apps [Nero,Alcohol 120,etc.]install virtual players.

    well this just happened recently...
    i had nero for awhile..i actually haven't burned a cd in awhile...
    and i haven't installed any new apps at all

    Right click on the drive and open Properties. Select the hardware tab. Look at the list for Nero,

    nope...lists nothing...
    and it doesn't even say CD-RW drive...just says a regular CD drive
