My xbox drive will read burnt cd's but it wont read acctual xbox game disks or dvds. ive tried it both with the microsoft bios and the modded bios. any ideas on what it might be could help thx...
I started having problems reading disks. I would intermittenly get a dirty disk error. I replaced my DVD drive with a samsung. Now no problems. http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/samsung-616t.php
Your cache file may be clogged up. Also, try using a lens cleaner/disk drive cleaner to clean the mirror.
