i have an old school laptop with windows 2000 :p.

i just installed a logitech quickcam 8.0 on my pc and it comepletely screwed up my laptop. it said that the driver cdr4_2k.sys was malfunctioning. so i went into safe mode and deleted it, but now im not sure that i should have. when i got out of safe mode, back into normal mode, i uninstalled the quickcam. but now my cd-drive isnt working. it says it was moved or deleted. my cd-drive is SANYO CRD-S372B, and i have a virtual daemon tools drive (dvd) VP3255Z RRF69V CSI CdRom Device. neither drives work now.
this is what it looks like:

yeah. when i go to the device manager, it says:

"This device is not working properly because Windows cannot load the drivers required for this device. (Code 31)

Click Troubleshooter to start the troubleshooter for this device."

and there is an exclamation mark on the icon.
