Hi, I recently bought a DVD+R/RW drive for my computer. I put it in and everythings fine, it came with Nero bare essentials or whatever the disc is called. It's fine. But when there's nothing in the CD drive it says it's a DVD-RW drive which is right, but with a place a DVD+R into it and close it it says that it's a CD drive. Does anyone know what's wrong here?
this is a Windows bug and it happens more often than you think.... to everyone at one time or another!~ The new version of Windows (Vista) is supposed to fix this bug. So long as your burner is working properly don't worry what Windows Explorer says what your burner is! Mine says CD every time I put in a blank DVD! It works fine!
