So afew days ago me and my firends were sitting in the lounge of my dorm @ college and we tried to burn a CD. After we put the list of songs together and poped blank CD in the driver and nothing happend. Then werealized the little icon said "Connect a Burner then restart player" So we tried with Alchol, no device found. Tried with Roxio and same thing. I tried a audio cd and it dosnt spin. it sounds like the laser is moving but nothing happend when i tried to play it.I looked at the drivers and its all up to date of corse and says everything is fine when its not (as usal vista) Any help? It was working afew days ago, like the last time i played FABLE but i dont know why it suddenly stoped.
Can you boot from CD? Try updating the firmware of your drive. If it still doesnt work it may be time for a new drive.
