Hello. I have a HP laptop(windows 2000) with built in drives(Dvd Express). When I go to play a DVD, the DVD Express features come up, but when I hit play a box immediately pops up saying "no valid drive/disc found". I tried several dvds(all of which I have played before on my laptop)and its still does the same thing, so apparently the problems in the drive. I recently downloaded windows media player 9 a couple of days back. Would this have anything to do with my problem? DVD Express is still showing in my program file, and nothing seems to be deleted or uninstalled that I can tell. Appreciate ANY help. Thanks!
Windows Media player is now version 10. Could be they had a problem and updated again. Just a guess. Jerry
