CD/DVD Rom Lens cleaner

    Does anyone know why my pc CD/DVD Rom does not recognize the cd/dvd lens cleaner anymore? I put the dick in the tray and it just blinks for about a minute then--nothing! anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

    Sorry couldn't help noticing that little typo, it made me laugh so much..............LOL

    Back to your problem, the first step would be to get a new cleaner disc and try it.

    Does it recognise the more important 'discs', like normal cd's and dvd's?

    If not it maybe on the way out and maybe worthwhile purchasing another, they are very cheap nowadays (£12 in the UK)

    Just be sure you don't push the button to close the tray when you do that. Yeowch.
