cd/dvd speed, quality...not working....Why??

    I opened the nero cd/dvd speed option. But it does not give me the tabs like benchmark, disc quality, disk info and the other one...why??

    I want to test the quality of the disks i am using....Thanks.

    what version do you have, the older ver. didn't have all the tabs.

    I got the new nero7.

    When I do get it to work...what should i put the dvd options under....for max speed...16 or 8 or 4?? For disk quality?

    This also depends on the burner. The CD DVD speed test doesn't work on some burners. even DVD Identifier or DVD Info Pro scan doesn't work for me. So no Quality Test I could do ;). I wish there is some program which can work on all discs.

    Or if someone can tellme if there is any change we need to make for running Quality tests?
