    hello,

i recently purchased a cd hydrobath, kinda cool, used for cleaning dvd or cdr's with no need to contact the surface with harsh abrasives...anyways the product is now discontinued and you can't get there special solution anymore so my question is this

what could i use to clean the surface of the discs that is CHEAP and EASY to find...could i use vinegar or rubbing alcohol?

    thanks

Will dish detergent help if the disk skips or is scratched? Someone told me to use toothpaste. Tried it and it scatched the disk pretty bad. You'd think they'd sell something.

there is a device & solution that supposedly buffs most minor scratches away but not deep scratches. never use toothpaste as it is an abrasive.
