    Hi all,

I put a CD into my laptop (dell studio 1749)and it simply does not recognize it,with the result that I cannot eject it.I have tried the manual eject buttons (one is lit up and one is on keyboard) and I also tried right clicking "computer" and clicking eject.but nothing happens. The drive is just a slot...ie.no tray comes out for the disk.so please please can someone advise me what to do next as info on this seems scarce. TIA.........

is there a little hole by the drive that a paperclip can fit into to eject the disk like on desktop drives?
