Is there any good software that i can download to check the status of my cd writer? If i were to make 10 copy's of a cd, i'd say about 6 of them work, the other 4 will abort with some stupid excuse that nobody can understand. So I was just wondering is there any way i can check it is working ok. Also I have now got a pile of CD-r's that have been aborted and i don't know whether they are useful or not any more. When i insert them in a drive, they are not even recognised and i am asked to insert a cd. Is there any way to check if they are useable or do i have to bin them? cheers, P
