    Hello all,
It seems I have an annoying reoccuring problem where when I burn something to CD-R(W), I get this annoying scratchy hissy noise whenever a percussive or a sibilant occurs in a song. It does'nt matter what speed I burn at, nor what software I'm using, and it would seem the last three burners have given me this problem. I am currently burning on a Ben-Q using either Nero or STOMP. I have a small studio and record my own music, you all can easilly imagine how annoying it is when I make such a clean recording only to have this annoying "vinyl" hissing scratchy effect mar an other wise perfect performance. Any help would be appreciated.

Well it can't be you media, its format or your burners because the process is digital. It has to be yor CD player. Do you have this problem on multiple playback equipment?

Why don't you burn to CD-rs?
