im getting annoyed. ive been trying to rip the album art off a couple of CD i recently got. i know itunes, and other sites have their own database but they dont exist in them. ive ripped the cd using itunes and windows media player 10, but nothing. "getting album info" wont return any results. im sure there is the album art inbeded in the cd some where but i cant find a (free) programme to extract it w/o resulting to the internet databases.
First switch to the Album view in the Playlist menu, then right click on the album in question, and click Find Album Info. hope it helps.
thats what i meant by "getting album info", i used the WMP term, same thing as "Find album info". i know itunes uses their database of album art that one can retrive. but in my case the album does not seem exist. so their in lies the rub. how do get album art when it does not exist in the itunes or other internet databases. im sure that all album art has a digital origin, i.e. the album/cd itself (or ill be quite suprised if it doesnt exist on the CD medium). so, as im fairly certain the art is embeded on the cd, how can i extract it dirct from the cd? how do u get the album art w/o going thru a database?
