I was not successful in getting my gcc4240n drive to burn. What drive would be compatible with my dell inspiron 1100. I am looking for a cdrom dvd combo that can burn both cds and dvds. Can I get one for under $50.00?
moved to correct forum as not a cd-r issue. what error did you get when trying to burn. being that is a laptop then any drive for your laptop has to have an ide connector on it not sata. could try an external usb burner instead of internal.
