is it possible to take a film trailer clip off a cd-rom and burn it onto a cd-r. the reason being is that a freind of mine got a cd-rom out of a sunday paper and wants to watch a film trailer on it, [bold]but[/bold] he doesn't have a pc. so he has asked me if i can put it onto a cd-r for him so he can watch it on a dvd player. can it be done? if so how? what format will it have to be in? what programmes will i need? many thanks in advance, mortus
Ah nice question. A lot of sunday papers (wouldnt be sunday times would it?) distribute trailers in SWF format, which is a flash movie file. The reason for this is because the Interactive CD is really only kinda using a web browser to play flash files. You can export SWF or FLA files i believe to MOV format with some versions of Macromedia Flash, but im not too sure which. If you got it to MOV, u could use TMPGEnc with the QTPlugin to encode the trailer to VCD!
