   i downloaded a couple of dvd burning programs and decoder off the site and i couldnt get em to work right so i uninstalled them.... when i went to use my cd-rom it will not read any audio cd or any blank cd's the only thing it will do is read dvd's

   What programs? Could they have messed up your ASPI?
