I have recently bought a DVD player with the intention of using it to play home audio on CD-RW's. The player I bought is a Panasonic DVD-RP62K. It says in the manual that it may be the type of media. I have tried Memorex and it didn't work. Is there a way to format the RW's for DVD players? Does anyone know a type of media that works? Thank you ahead of time for any help.
How (with what) did you burn the disc? You need to burn the RW as standard ISO disc - do not use DirectCD, InCD or any packet writing software.
I used DeirectCD that is all I have at present. What should I use software wise? If I burn with the ISO format will Atill be able to Rewrite? Thanks for Your help.
I also have a Panasonic dvd player & I too used Memorex and it didn't work. I use Imataion cd r & rw and i have never had a problem. you have to keep trying different brands. every dvd player is different. Hope this helped
I've also got a Panasonic RP62. I've had success using Memorex CD-RW (and Imation). I burned the .bin/.cue using VCDEasy. The ATIP for the Memorex discs I have is below: ATIP: 97m 25s 30f Disc Manufacturer: InfoDisc Technology Co., Ltd. Reflective layer: Phase change Media type: CD-ReWritable Recording Speeds: min. unknown - max. 4X nominal Capacity: 702.83MB (79m 59s 74f / LBA: 359849) Hope that helps, Jim
