I have one CD-R/W and one regular CD-ROM sitting in the same computer and I use Nero to back up some data in CD-RW so I can reuse it in the future.

But the CD-RW with the backup date is not readable form the regular CD-ROM but readable from the CD-R/W?

Does any one know why ?

    Many Thanks.

is your Drive Cd-Rom certified [bold] MultiRead[/bold] ?

If not -- Most normal CD-ROM drives will not read CD-RWs. The format is foreign to them. They will only read CD-Rs if the session has been closed.

    Thanks.

I didn't know whether the CD-ROM is MultiRead or not since I got it from my friend.

    Really appreciated.

Does that mean there is no way to make it work ?
