I use the xp built in software for copying data files onto a cd-rw disc. It will work for awhile but then all of a sudden when I try to copy over some more files the cd-rw disc reads full. I only have around 60 mb's on the disc so why would it read that it's full? I have to erase the disc in order to add more data files onto it. Does anyone know what could be causing this to happen?
This has happend to me before the resne this happens is because it finilazes the disk and closes off the disk to any more data I hope thid helps. I dont know of any program that you can do what your saying you want to do.
yes when you write files to the cd it puts the files onto the cd then closes the disk if you like. A cd is not like a memory stick you can't just open and edit it like you would like to. And the reason you can change it once you have erased the files is because it goes back to its normal blank state which means you can burn files again but it will close the disk again. Just make sure that when you burn the files you burn all that you want or just get a memory stick you chose
If its a CD-RW you should just be able to wipe it and start the disc again i believe? You can do that Nero...Make sure its set up as a "multi session disc" if you want to be able to burn on to it again
you haven't really read what he was saying have you i just already said it will wipe and then the files will go on the cd fine lol
Yeah i read, but i wanted to say about the multi session and Nero and i figured that would be a good way of saying it.
