I originally bought Nero for burning my CD's because they encoded the CD title on the CD with CD text, I have Sony's 300 disc carasole and having the disc's encoded with the title if very very helpful.

It does not look like Nero has the ability to encode titles, at least the disc title you type in for burning is not used for the cd/dvd text.

Does Nero have the ability to insert disc titles via CD text and if not is there a program that does have this feature?

    Thanks for any help

wot do you mean mate? are you asking if there is a program that will put the title of the disc onit?

For example when you put a disc into your cd drive, go to my computer, then look at your cd drive and it says "disc 1" or whatever. Are you asking which software will change "disc1" to say the title of the movie etc?

    hope i can help

with my 300 disc player my movies stay in the disc player, so as I scroll through the DVD's the title's will show up on the TV where I can then select the DVD al from the comfort of my chair.

Sony DVD's are already encoded with the titles but the other movie studios do not encode the titles to there discs so there is no title information showing. The disc player does have the ability to encode each slot where the disc resides but it is a tedious process, one I hate doing.

Hope I made it clear, thanks cjdj

I just started buring movies a couple of days ago, I am going through my player and replacing the originals with copies. If I burn a Sony CD I get the text on the DVD but it does not seem like I can get the Titles on the DVD's that do not have titles encoded. This seems like such a simple thing for all studios and/or burners to do.

I started copying CD's for my 300 disc CDchanger and Nero was the only burner that had the feature to encode the titles (I tried at least half-dozen burners before Nero), other burners would encode song titles but not disc titles, figure that one out.

I always wondered why car cd players didn't have his feature so you could always know what album and title was playing.
