cd to dvd burning.......

    how do u burn more than on cd onto a dvd?......I have a dvd burner, but what software do I use?...and do I have to compress the files?...help!!

    Do you have a dvd burner? What are you trying to burn? What file format are they? What programs are you using to burn cd's? We need more information before we can help you.

    ok.......well I have a memeorex burner, and I am using Nero to burn dvd/cds......not sure what kind of format the cd's are in (home made cd's) and i am using dvd-r disks.......thanks!!....in advance...

    What files are you trying to burn to dvd's?

    music cd's......dont know the formate (cd's burned at home)

    You can burn them as data and store them on dvd's. You can play them on any computer.

    I tried to burn as a data and as a music file.......but no luck. Do you know anything specificly about nero 7?....what I have is a trial version......could that be it?

    You can use imgburn, as it's a free burning software and much better than nero IMHO.

    ok....i downloaded imgburn........followed the instructions..but still no luck??!!??.......all i want to do is put some cds onto a dvd..why is this so hard?......aaaaaaah...

    You don't know what type f files they are? Are these MP3 files on the cd? Or are the cds copies of music cds you made? You could try using a cd ripping program (here is a free one http://www.download.com/Free-CD-Ripper/3000-2140_4-10212165.html and also there s this one as well http://www.audiograbber.com-us.net/ ) and rip the music tracks into your pc hard drive as MP3 format then use Nero or any cd burning program to compile all tracks and burn to dvd (you can use this one as an example http://infrarecorder.sourceforge.net/ ). See if this works for you
