i tried making the cdloader 7 cd downloaded from swapmagicfix.com. i burnt it onto cd with nero using the option "data cd". started up my ps2 with my swap magic disks, then i put the burnt cd it, and i tried to load it but it didnt work. what am i doing wrong? how do you burnt the cdloader?
i made the cd and it came out fine, but it didnt work with the swap magic. did i have to burn the cdloader onto a dvd-r or dvd+r? cuz i put it on a tdk cd-r. and how do i load it? is it considered a special boot or something?
doesn't that version of swap magic have the SPECIAL BOOT option (thats supposed to do the same as cd loader)?
yea, it does have a special boot option. does that replace the cdloader? i wasnt sure what special boot did.
o ok, cool. thanx. i guess i wont have to mess with the cdloader. question, is there a way to load swap magic onto a memory card so it works when you have the memory card in the ps2, just as if the swap magic cd was in.
you can put the swap magic cd on the memory card, but to load it you need an exploit disc (ps1 disc), so there is not much point.
