Hi I think my settings got changed some how (kids). My CDR can read cd's but when it comes time to copy information back on a blank cd it says that that drive in not assesable. So.... thinking it was broke I bought a DVD writer and it does the same thing, reads but doesn't write. Can anybody help??

Great news, I fixed it. First thing you need to do is check for your recording tab. Note: To view the CD Drive (drive_letter:) Properties dialog box, click Start, click My Computer, right-click the CD-R drive or CD-RW drive that you want, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu. If you do not have one then.........
There are 2 possible solutions. The one that worked for me was the fact the Easy CD Creator 5.0 Does Not Function In Windows XP. so I removed it from my computer. You can go to their site and upgrade (if your registered) or you can purchase a newer version.

After removing it, I restarted my computer and the tab showed up for all 3 of my drives. Be sure to click on the enable button before trying to copy.

There is another possible solution so if this doesn't work reply back and I'll give it to you.

    Good luck
