I'm new here, so I appologize if this has appeared in an earlier thread... I was wondering if there is a CDR indentifier program that is currently supported and updated? The program I was using is no longer being supported.

I would like the software to be able to tell me the manufacturer of the disc as well as the dye formulation; any other info it may provide would be a bonus.

    Many Thanks...

PS. I do have a program, but it only reads DVD's.

Thanks for the info, but that program is mis labeled; it only reads DVD's.

Surely someone out there has written a ATIP reader to replace CD-intentifier.

Yep, mis labeled. I looked for a cdr identifier and found one that said it is no longer being supported. Probably the same one you spoke of originally.

It's no longer being supported, but since it's just a ATIP reader, it shouldn't go out of date. The last version of CDR-identifier was 1.63, and since it's no longer supported, it's a little hard to find anymore. If I can find the link I'll post it.
