I have found that Taiyo Yuden disks are ones of the best. And how about "Mitsui Chemicals", "TDK Corporation", "Kodak Japan Limited", "Pioneer Video Corporation", "Ricoh Company".

    T. Y. discs are very good & so are Ritek discs in my experience. The other brands you mentioned I haven't tried.

When you say Mitsui Chemicals do you mean Mitsubishi Chemicals -- if so, then i heartily reccomend them; a most excellent choice IMHO. As for Kodak Japan Limited , unless Im mistaken their really really good line of cds (something like the gold plus) discs are discontinued, havnt had many encounters with their recent stuff but if its anything like their oldschool discs then go for it.

Ive never encountered Pioneer Video Corporation or TDK Corporation discs so I couldnt say and with regards to Ricoh Company their discs, while not the best, offer a surprising amount of quality for their usual price range.
