    Have Blaupunkt car cd player
Can read some 74min cdrs I bought a while ago
Can't read any of the 80min cdrs I've burned with my new Sony 52x cdrw

Thought it was just the 80min cdrs
But then a friend gave me an 80min cdr the other day & it worked fine

What cdr software is best? (i've been using nero up until now)

The CloneCD 4.2.0.2 this is the latest.

Ues its CD Copy Feature and choose AudioCD.

Its that easy when it comes to CloneCD, there
are a few reasons why you may not be able to
listen to your CDr in the car, but the most likey one is that when creating a AudioCD you must close out the session before it can be played on home or car CD players. CloneCD takes care of this for you and you should be OK after that. If by chance your still having the same problems try using diffrerent Media Type CDR's blanks ones that are geared more towards audio...

Car CD-players are very sensitive to the media. You need good media CD-R and a good software (and sometime you need to write at low speed, too, id the CD-reader is not very good)

The best programs for audio are EAC (ripping) and Feurio! (burning).

Aldaco, just moved that thread ;)

And yes, my car sterer has trouble with decent CD copies also. I back up all my audi, because the world is full of sticky fingered youths and I don't want to replace a £200 CD collection and a new window ;)

I found that Nero and slow burn speeds works for me ;)
