Well I cant help with this problem but I can tell you that there are better than cdrwin for burning (S)VCD such as VCDEasy, which is free!!

Well you can build an image in VCDEasy, a bin/cue, and then try burn that with CDRWIN??

alright i wrote a vcd image with cdrwin and burned it with dvd decrypter. Before i burned it, cdrwin it said stream encoding not valid for vcd. i thought it said that because i used tmpgenc.so i burn it on cd and it got five minutes in and just kinda froze.

PS used tmpgenc guide from claddvd xp page

question: im using aspi 4.70 and i heard it sucks should i go back to 4.60 and if yes how do i do this.

Dont worry about aspi for a second, One thing to focus on is the invalid stream. When you used TMPFGEnc you were using a guide so I assume you correctly set everything for VCD yes?? Did you seperate the audio to a seperate file before encoding??

Also my suggestion in the first place was to make a VCD image with VCDEasy after you set out all your chapters and stuff! Then use CDRWIN to burn the image. Did you try that at all??
