Hi people, I have recently come into a problem that I know is not my DVD recorder, because I have tested a different drive (different model) on my machine and got exactly the same outcome. When I record a DVD everything is fine however cd's always fail (have tested many different brands). I have included a log made from nero and a log from Nero Infotool. This first version of Nero7 was buggy, uninstall, run this clean tool, http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then install this more stable version, 7.0.8.2 from here http://www.filehippo.com/download_nero_7_premium/?845 Update your firmware to 1.41 from here http://wwwbsc.pioneer.co.jp/product-e/ibs/device_e/file/DVR110D_FW141EU.EXE Try this and see how it goes.
Thank you Gwen I will try this....I also use the music match box that came with my dell computer, both my home and at work and have the same problem. As far as firmware i have been told to be careful with this procedure as it may cause the burner or , anything else that gets firmware flashed? to possibly not run correctly is that true? I dont know to much about this procedure but will try it if you recommend it. I will also uninstall/ install the nero program. thank you
