I recently came across a Cendyne 4X DVD+RW burner for $61.00. It looks like Cendyne built drives for Pioneer (A05) and NEC (1100). Is the CDICD00225 by Cendyne a decent unit? I've some good reviews on the Pioneer A05. Thanks!!
they are all the same exact drive with different firmware and different name. I had almost got one myself but instead i bought the 8x plex.
I received the Cendyne CDIC00225. Right on the Specifications label it says its a NEC 1100A. Looks like I'm off to the races. Now to find some GOOD media.
thats interesting, last i had heard it was a pioneer without the label, either way NEC is very good also, i personally would have gotten a liteon or a plextor. But hey you cant possibly go wrong for buying it under 70 bux.
