    Hello,

I have recently bought a new laptop and am having problems with certain websites.

What happens is I'll go onto Google and search for something, (let's say Ikea) and it'll appear with the list of websites. However, when I click onto the website, I get the page cannot be found page.

Obviously I know the address is correct, and I know the website is not down, because I can get onto it here at work.

It also seems to be entirely random, as yesterday I couldn't get onto Google Groups, yet I could get into Web and Images.

I have checked for spyware etc on my PC and I don't have any. (at least Giant isn't showing any)

Does anyone have any ideas on what this can be ?

    Thanks,

    J

i know some websites are made with flash, have you installed the flash player? That used to happen with me. Make sure about your security settings and cookies etc...try installing firefox or opera browsers and see if that works too.
