OK so had cfw 3.55 on my phat ps3 ,but since then young fella took update and now is on ofw 4.whatever.will this new leak help me with downgrade once again or am i stuck with ofw?
downgrade only with hardware flasher(costs around 90 with out shipping) the new cfw 4.21 does not install on ofw 4.xx only on 3.55 and its also cannot be downgraded once installed...
its not 4.25... its 4.21.... and yes progress has been made... "bluedisk" CFW 4.25 made all this possible... LV0 is patched on it so puling keys from there is easy... whats even more funny(Hilarius is the right word here) is if you take this cfw and replace aim_spu_module.self from OFW 4.25 you disable the DRM they built into it lol!.... doing that will give you access to pretty much anything you like lol.... btw don't install the rogero 4.21 cfw high brick risk... a new multiman is also out adds the hermes payload SC-8 so all is good now... now not only this but if you wanted you can also make CFW for DEX :3 a few more apps now has 4.21 compatibility... blackb0x Comgenies Awesome Filemanager dev_blind ReactPSN (^__^) take note that its LV0 keys are not APP keys :3 LV0 is almost the lowest of them all before metldr.. LV0 keys give you access to the system using those you can get other keys aswell... once APP keys leak you can sign things... one last note... LV0 is not patchable... sony cant do anything about it... unlike the 3k models that has the LV0.2.... sony can patch those.... anyway the chain is simple bootldr > LV0 > metldr > LV1 > LV2(you can call this the XMB)... now im all about open the console fully but im against the bootldr keys... those cant be changed and once you have those... that's the final nail in the coffin for PS3...
