Hi all, I am new to this modding thing. I bought a v1.3 chameleon and am installing it into my v1.1 xbox. I followed all the instructions that were posted on previous threads and installation manuals provided. The blue led on the chip does not come on very strongly and I have to fiddle around with it for it to even come on. It is screwed in tightly, aligned correctly, yet I still have to wiggle the chip around a little for the blue led to come and even then it doens't stay on if i don't hold it. Is there anything I can do about this? Could it be a problem with the chip or am I doing something wrong? thanks in advance for any help.

One problem I ran into was having dirty contact points. Make sure they are clean. Another issue I ran into was having one of the spring loaded prongs on the adapter not pushing the prong out so there isn't firm contact with the contact point onthe motherboard. This was easy to see because i looked at the adapter and sawthat one of the prongs wasn't even with the rest of them... it was half the height.
