Chameleon chip flashing

    Whenever I turn on my xbox with all the switches up the chip doesnt boot properly. The reset light just flashes red and green. Whenever I change any of the bank switches the chip boots properly. Do I have to flash a bios on the chip with all the switches up or can i do it in any mode?

    What chip do you have and are you using an external programmer?

    I have a Chameleon P+E solderless chip. And I'm trying to boot up a bios on a cd-rw.

    You can flash from any banks but keep in mind that it's only the first bank that will be flashed so after you've flashed it you'll have to put all the switches up
