I installed the solderless chip in the xbox with no problems. Whenever I turned on the xbox i saw the blue led light blinking but nothing came up on my television screen. I burnt a cd/rw with the x2-4980 bios renamed to lunixbio.bin. This cd also contained a 235 meg dummy file. When i put this cd/rw into the drive the led light on the chip stopped blinking and now the green light on the front of the xbox just keeps blinking red and green. Nothing still has shown up on my television screen yet either. Someone please let me know whats goin on here. I'm pretty sure the chip is in right i'm just confused on what to do after the chip is in.
I've got a executer bios on my chameleon, use the evox dashboard. When I first installed my chameleon the eject flashed red and green because I had my dip switches backwards. I forget- first two up last two down, or the other ways around. The second time it flashed red and green the chameleon came loose on the solderless adapter. You have to make sure it is seated really good. If you want to use xbox live you have to solder two long wires from the power and eject on the chameleon chip and splice them to the power and eject wires in the xbox. ---sickwidit---
