Chameleon Xbox Mod Chip (CHAMELEON & ADAPTER WITH RIVETS) NEWBIE QUESTION

Hey! I just ordered my Chameleon Xbox Mod Chip (CHAMELEON & ADAPTER WITH RIVETS and have it installed and ready to go.I really know nothing about this or how to work it and what not.Basically I want to know what to do next? Can I just burn XBOX games to my DVD-R's and then play them? How exactly does that work? Thanks in advance!

 

Goto www.xodus-chip.com and download the User Manual. You'll first need to reflash it with either an Evox or X2 bios. Then you'll be able to load "home made" disc's.

Thanks! What do you by reflashing it? Sorry I'm sure these are very easy questions for most.

 

The Bios the chip comes with is not good, so you will have to hook the chip up to your computer using a programer, or using a boot disc. Flash is when you put a bios on the chip: example evox or x2 as getmodded said.

 

Is there is up to date or better chip out there to get then? Im not sure how to hook the thing up to my computer.

Do anyone know what is the best modchip to buy. I was looking on http://www.the-console-corner.com/xecuter_2_lite_plus.htm and they have the xecuter 2 lite plus for only $20.00. Do anyone know how this chip is, is it good, bad?
