You mean you want to re-encode your avi movie with the divx codec? Are you sure the movie hasnt already been encoded with the divx codec? (Use Gspot to find out.) Youll need an encoding program. Virtualdubmod is the best choice in my opinion. http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/virtualdubmod/VirtualDubMod_1_5_4_1_All_inclusive.zip?download Also the latest divx codec. http://www.divx.com Load the movie into vdubmod. Get into the video menu and select Compression. Select divx codec and then click on configure to enter encoding method and the bitrate you want to use. Save avi. I dont have any experience using the newest divx codec except that if you choose Standard encoding speed you will have quality comparable to that of the divx 5.05 codec._X_X_X_X_X_[small]Life is but a dream...so wake me up already!!![/small]
