    hello,
I am trying to find a way to change the bios boot up picture and letters (Dell) to something of my own. Is there such a way, I know this can be done cause I remember someone talking about it but that person is gone now.
Basically, everytime I boot, I see DELL in blue, I want to change it.
    Any ideas would be appreciated.

ps- I have looked at the boot up F2 and F12 but there is no option to do this.

    thanks,

OEM BIOS logos are usually a fixed item...and cannot be changed.

    Hello,
Thanks for the replies. I doubt DELL makes the MB? Don't they OEM everything out. I do not think dell makes any kind of PC/laptop parts, they just put cheap pc parts together, puts "DELL" on them and sell them at ok prices.
Am i right about this? I have seen boot up screens with local companies logo on them, etc. I was just hoping someone knew how to do this. Thanks again!

There are ways to modify the BIOS boot logo. The easier ones are not locked at the factory such as what Dell requires.

You might try to do a search on Google and see if anyone out there has done it.
