Is there a way to make my programs (Nero, MyDVD, DVDProducer, etc) or even my burner itself burn back at 2x.. ever since i updated to sp2 in winxp the lowest i can go is 4x, i know the media is a factor, but all i have right now is 8x maxells... and id rather burn at 2x instead of 4x.. i seem to get better quality with less garbling at the slowest speed.. my dvd drive is an emprex something or other.. 1080 sticks out in my head but those numbers could be wrong as well.. thanks for any help...
Nero should give you the option when you tell it to burn. If it isn't giving you the burn speed you want as an option, maybe the media doesn't support it or your firmware doesn't allow it (which could be the case if media does support it). As far as the other programs I'm not familiar with them, so I don't know about them.
