Hi guys. Newbie's second post. Got modded HD from a box with a dead board and eeprom from a box with dead HD.Is it possible to change eeprom's and keep the softmod. I'll be grateful for help.
It's just as easy as it sounds, as long as you have the eeprom that is currently locking the hard drive you can unlock that hard drive and relock it with any eeprom. Easiest way to do this is to make a xboxhdm cd without a eeprom in the eeprom folder. Use option 3, and when you type unlockhd -a it will give you an option to use your floppy disk. Just make one floppy disk with your old eeprom and one with your new eeprom and you'll be good to go.
