Change format???

    How do I change a file type from a DVD that a ripped to my pc using DVD shrink to something people can play on there pc’s, like .wmv or whatever? I have Nero 6.6 that came with my Sony DVD burner.

    If you ripped the file as a VIDEO_TS folder you should be able to view the movie with Nero Showtime, WMP or many other video apps in windows.

    Yes I understand but I want to post some stuff on my personal web site and send via email to friends and family.

    I've used NeroVision to convert regular movies to AVI just the same as converting an AVI to DVD.
    If you have windows XP also you could use the movie maker there to go directly to .wmv
