I have some anime that is 30 fps which ps3 does not support. I wondered if there is a way to change the frame per second rate that ps3 will support without re-encoding.

Well, I have to told you guys that it is really not an easy job. You have to re-encode your file and modify the frame rate settings. I also have such experience with PS3 settings.

To solve this problem, I Google to find apps. Many of them are junks. Some apps, like Xilisoft, although its interface is nice, it is really terrible that the output will not be sync if I modify Frame Rate. It seems that it is a quite common problem among conversion tools.

I do not like recommend certain things for you to try. But if you ask me what the better one is, i'd like to say "Tutusoftware". Its video converter program can convert the files quickly. And what's more important is the output will be always sync after modifying Frame Rate and it has specific profile for PS3.

One point that I must say is that Tutusoftware is not the best one I like because it can not auto-upgrade like many other apps. That's too bad because i have to always download the apps from their site.
