i would like to know how to change the power voltage on the back of my pc cause it is currently running at 130 watts and i dont think its supplying my computer with enough power to run my programs and i notice it is kind of slow for a 2.8 gigahertz computer....my options are 130 or 250 watt... i want to know how you would change it to 250 watts and how to configure my computer to accept the new settings...thank you!!

    my pc specs:
    Dell 4600i series
    2.8 gigahertz
    512 ram
    80 gig HD
    nVidia geforce fx 5200 series

that switch is set for the country you are in. north america uses 115v & europe uses 230volts. what is wattage marked on your psu? also have you checked for spyware as it will knock a p4 down to a p1 level in speed?

there is a label on 1 of the sides that shows the wattage of the psu. to change the wattage you have to get a new psu that has more watts output than the present psu.
