change svcd to vcd format... ?

my dvd cant play svcd but it can play vcd..

anyone give me advise on how to copy svcd to vcd format...

 

yeh take a look at this guide http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/40259 it helped me out anyway. i would help you myself but i think it would be better if you would follow the guide.

 

Easier still, use the MainConcept Mpeg encoder and select open, browse to the mpeg2 dir and select the file.

Now change the settings to VCD compliant, select output dir, hit convert.

Done

Before you go and encode to a lesser quality format why not try the VCD Header Trick??

The concept is that you trick your DVD player into thinking the SVCD is a VCD by changing the header info. This way you don't loose any more quality by encoding to VCD format.

i was advised to try .. Main Concept MPEG Encoder for my problem..
but i could only find it in German and my German is very rusty... anyone know where i can find it in English.. please...?
