change windows xp progress bar

    hey guys, does anybody know how to change the default windows xp progress bar from its broken chunks into a solid bar? perhaps change the color too> thanks google isn't helping haha

    Wincustomize would give you a better choice of status bars that are usually modified in the app Windowblinds & the skins that are made,it'd be cheaper to buy objectdesktop that way you can make massive safe changes to the whole look,windowblinds etc can be downloaded as free trial as can icon packager etc,once trial is over it will seize to function & is best uninstalled,you'll need to anyway as the trial version is not compatible with the bought version

    Forgot to mention there are free versions of cursor xp or cursorfx,an app that can give you animated cursors there are also stacks of themes in the gallery for free to download,there's also objectdock free version as well, & like all stardock software members make free skins n stuff for others to download,bear in mind the free versions are limited versions of the bought ones,you can get other stuff to use with stardock apps at deviant art.

    word of warning if you download a crack version of any of stardock software expect a lot of issues that will arise & affect your computer in a bad way,you'd be supprised at how many people ask for help when they use cracked versions & expect a fix for from the makers & the community in general..lol..


    Edit: Once your at the home page of wincustomize,look to your right for the column named GALLERY,the skins for download are there,it's best to sign up otherwise your limited to 50MB of downloads per day?,clearing your cache may allow to you get around that daily limit,just don't tell anyone i said that :p

    I wish! the staff discount would be huge..lol..that said once you become a objectdesktop subscriber or a wincustomize browser subscriber you'll get large discounts off all software.

    I'm just into changing the appearance of the std windows theme,if you cruise to the screenshot section it'll give you an idea what the stuff can do & then there's the wow factor when mates see it mwaaa
