I burn my xvid files to dvd . I want them to burn to ntsc format , but a lot off them are in pal . is there anyway i can change the format off them ? I dont want to use nero vision express as it usally has a error and dosent complete the burning process as well as other problems i have with nero . I prefer to use roxio to burn my xvids to dvd .

If they are progressive then generally you would slow down to 23.976fps, encode with a 3:2 pulldown and then adjust the audio length to match. Otherwise you have to blend/duplicate frames, resulting in poor motion. You could also checkout dgpulldown.

Roxio might be ok for burning XviD ?'s, however I wouldn't suggest it or Nero for converting.

There's a lot of info in the guides section. DivxtoDVD would be the easiest way to do it. If you want decent quality you could also try avi2dvd, as that will let you use various encoders. I'm assuming you're not familiar with Avisynth usage, but if avitodvd works right you won't need to be. Check the guides section. You could also try a program called The Film Machine.
