I've got some episodes of an anime that I want to burn to DVD. The way I've been going about it is to combine 4 of the episodes in Virtualdub, and then convert the result to DVD-compliant MPEG in TMPGEnc afterwards. I've run into a problem where one episode has a different frequency than the others - its in 48000hz while the others are 44100hz. Obviously I can't combine them into one AVI in virtualdub like this.

Can I convert the audio in the AVI to the right bitrate etc.? How should I go about fixing this?

Thanks in advance for any help :)

You can use TMPGEnc. Open it and close the wizard. Open the .avi file with the Browse button at the bottom. Then do File=>Output to File=>Avi
File. In that dialog you can select audio options to match up to 44100
or whatever you want. Output the file to another folder so you don't overwrite the original. Then try combining in VirtualDub with the copy.
