I don't have my windows mail (vista) set up, but I can set it up if need be. I use gmail and yahoo currently.

My question is, is there a way to send an email at 3pm, but make it look like it was sent at noon?

No, The automatic time stamps, are applied usualy by the mail servers, which cannot be amended.

Well for hotmail, gmail and yahoo anyway. Changing the time on your mail settings will not change the time which the messages are stamped.

Someone told me to use a spoof service, but not really sure how to do that.

I receive spam that's dated for 30 years from now, so there has to be a way it's done.

Yes, you may recieve e-mails from others with funny time-stamps, but as i said it is impossible to do it (to my knowledge) using gmail, yahoo and hotmail. The time stamps are burried in the domain servers, which you cant edit.

Well, do you know how to do it without using hotmail, gmail or yahoo? It doesn't even need to be a valid service where someone can reply and have me receive it. I would just need to be able to send it out.
