channel 4

    I hear you can now get channel 4 on the free to air satillite in ireland is this true if so were is it.

    never heard o that it don come in free as far as im aware

    C4 should be there, but the channel is labelled 8350. More 4s and E4s are also there all Freesat, but keep coming and going, its early days :) No C4+1 though as yet.

    You can even use your Sly box and tune them and they will be put into other channels.

    so if i pull the cable out the back o the box scouse they should be there withthe others?

    On a Sly Box in Ireland remove the card power off then back on and it will scan them in but you will then receive the UK EPG stream for them. Wont go into it but its to do with rights issues etc.

    About time we did speak about Free To Air here LOL :)

    ch4 is coming fta it has to do with the new freesat (not freeview} just launched a few weeks ago from bbc/itv but from 28.2 in opposition to sky . from what i have read ch5 will be also be available in the next few months,as scouser has said they have a few rights issues to sort out ,so for the moment its with the legal people. if you google freesat you can read all about it.
