Update the keys and see if they come back. They changed this afternoon.

Keys won't help this time. You need to install the new bin file if you have the card fix installed on your Coolsat. If you have NO CARD, then you are out of luck again for a while. They changed to a new encryption map call.

has it always been the case for these bins to work for like 1 to 2 weeks and then a new encryption comes out that wipes out the channels for 2 months?

@kaity, This aggressive position from DN & BEV was only started recently. The main part of the encryption was never changed this often. They would just play with the key numbers which wasn't hard to update. When they change something in the main stream it requires knowledge of how and what was changed and then if enough information is known, they will re-write a bin file to counter that encryption. The BIG problem is the main changes are getting very complicated and harder to decrypt. Thats why the long waiting times now.

@cha951, Here is the link to the main Coolsat support site. One of their sponsers should have the cards, but be advised you will also need a programmer for it and a reader to install in the Coolsat receiver. Extra costs::: card about $200./$250, programmer about $50., and reader about $50. Plus some knowledge of how to program the card. If you don't do it right you could destroy the card. Is it worth the extra $400.?? I don't think I would invest in it.
